A indication of how small we all used to be, bend right down to get through the door and clumpety-clump your way down the stairs into a former storehouse that the owners have tried to turn into a classy restaurant but have, it has to be said, failed in doing so. Great food, great surroundings and attentive service for sure, but somehow it doesn’t add up to anythings much at all.
