Munich's (and perhaps also the world's) biggest beer garden, with more than 8,000 seats is, surprisingly, the least touristy. Very oldy-worldy and set under a thick canopy of leafy chestnut trees, Hirschgarten offers typical Biergarten fare like fish-on-a-stick and enormous portions of schnitzel and grilled chicken. There's a deer park and Nymphenburg Castle next door.
