See the magenta toothbrush in the sky? When the tower illuminates various shades of the rainbow, a major trade fair is in town. This broadcast tower operated by Deutsche Telekom is 282 meters high, including the 10-meter high base building. Built from 1988-1992 and designed by Hans U. Boeckler, it received the cement-steel prize Die Kunst des Bewehrens for the towers truss structure.
