Despite being a hotel café this place is really rather nice. Shades of Art Deco and a rocking horse for overactive infants make the imbibing of fancy teas and the nibbling of fancy cakes that bit more enjoyable. During the summer months, when the Heumarkt is bursting with foreigners, Café Heumarkt offers a pleasant escape from the ghastly masses, and is worth more investigation. Surprisingly recommended.
