Café-Restaurant »Wintergarten« im Literaturhaus

Some guests may be sporting three-piece suits, straw hats, polished canes and freshly fluffed pups, but you don't have to be all that precious about eating at this literary hangout. Food runs from cheap sandwiches for aspiring writers and critics, to lamb. The 19th-century building has airy rooms that are pleasant to dine in on a sunny day.

Considering its sparse decor, this place has a lot of atmosphere. An interesting lunch menu, good wine selection, and some peculiar clientele all make this an interesting choice for lunch. There is this 1930's feeling inside, along with lots of green in the garden outside. If I recall correctly, they do not accept credit cards, so go equipped with cash. There's an ATM across the street by Via Condotti, the Italian restaurant that should get a write up in IYP, BTW.
