Opened 1913, time seems to have stood still in the oldest tavern in Prenzlauer Berg - and that's the way the regulars like it. The Eck serves inexpensive Berlin dishes - sausages, Boulette (hamburger), and Bratkartoffel (fried potatoes), and has a letter from artist Heinrich Zille to the first tavern owner hanging on the back wall, as well as a savings box that regulars once contributed to.
