A local success story, the boys at Ale Browar took a shared love of beer, found a brewery (useful) and turned their passion into a business. There’s a bit more to it than that for this young brewing company whose bar in Gdynia is just the first of four in Poland. One of the owners is an experienced and extremely talented brewer as we well know from our many evenings drinking in the Brovarnia microbrewery in Gdańsk. There is a wide range of beers to choose from, including a selection of 13 on tap, all which come with descriptions about their taste and alcohol content on a colourful leaflet. Their names sound like they could have been lifted from racehorses, including 'Amber Boy,' 'Hard Bride' and 'King of Hop;' sample a few before settling on your favourite for the night. You can do so by choosing a 0.25l glass before moving onto the 0.5l, some of which sell at 14zl which, while still less than 4 Euros, is markedly more expensive that the average price of a beer in these parts. There is also a take away option, if needed. Also in Sopot, Gdańsk Wrzeszcz and as far away as Wrocław!
