Probably our favourite place to eat in Malbork. The fact that the restaurant is an established family business and member of the Slow Food movement are contributory factors (as is the fact we love their cafe Retro in Gdańsk). The menu is a mix of traditional Polish dishes such as żurek (rye soup), pork cutlets and pierogi which use the freshest, locally produced, seasonal produce but it goes further than that. The salads are very good and there are pizza and pasta dishes for those who’ve had enough local grub for one holiday. It’s all good in reality but the thing that they do stand out particularly for are their cakes and desserts which are homemade and very tasty.
