A small, modern town of apartment blocks 20km east of Puka along the Fan i Madh river, Fushë-Arrëz is surrounded by forested hills, remote and pretty villages, alpine pastures and ore-bearing mountains. Working hard on improving its tourism development, the town and surrounding destinations are increasingly easy to visit, with new roads and guesthouses raising the standards.
