Nice is equally a beach holiday destination as it is a glam destination. Although there are not many beaches, when compared with other European destinations, there are a few good beaches that stand out and present visitors to Nice with good swimming and relaxing activities. Plage de la Marinière and Plage de Passable are small beaches that are open to the public and present a good swimming opportunity. Castel Plage and Blue Beach are private beaches that people go to and enjoy the water and food in the restaurants.
