This once known as a prayer chapel, which later was turned into a museum, sees a big number of visitors every year because it is one of the significant places in Saint Tropez. Musée de l'Annonciade started housing artists and painters in the 20th century, the most celebrated and well known being Paul Signac who settled in Saint Tropez and invited other painters to join him. They painted from 1890 to 1950, and this work is what is exhibited in the museum to date. Located on Rue de l'Annonciade, today the museum receives visits from tourists, holidaymakers, students, and teachers, all wanting to learn and see what the painters saw in their everyday lives.
