Open daily, with free admission, Helsinki City Museum is situated in the blue-grey Sederholm House, which’s one of the oldest buildings in town, dating back to the mid-18th century. The museum upholds the city’s architectural, spiritual and material heritage. Children’s Town is part of the museum, boasting corners for imaginative play, displays of everyday items and toys from the past. At Children’s Town, kids are allowed to dress up in a variety of costumes, work in a cobbler shop, sail a ship, and jump into a horse-drawn carriage. What a lovely place to visit with kids!
