The Pankhurst Centre hero image

Never had such a humble museum housed such important history. The Pankhurst Centre is where the suffragette movement was established in the United Kingdom, a hugely influential building and organisation that changed life in the country. It was the home of Emmeline Pankhurst, a veritable tour de force in the world of women’s activism. The centre is open to the public every Thursday, entirely free of charge.
