Manchester Coach Station

The main bus station in Manchester is located in the very centre of town, is open 24 hours and is well linked to major cities around the country. There aren’t a huge amount of facilities at the station but then its located in the centre of town makes such things largely superfluous, so pick up your snacks from a newsagent before arriving at the terminus. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time before boarding the bus, as this is the UK and we don’t know the first thing about efficiency. There are automated ticket machines, but don’t be surprised to see them out of order. The ticket office is open during general office hours.
