We like our cafes to have plenty of natural light, and Ezra & Gil certainly don’t let the side town in that regard. This place is positively flooded with the stuff, making for a pleasant atmosphere in which to drink some shimmering coffee or waffle down an imaginative brunch. The name means ‘Helper & Happiness’, a combination that we all need in some form or another, and this charming cafe does what it says on the tin. It is also located in an old clothing showroom, a silent nod to Manchester’s rich past.
