Even the name screams ‘homely’, right? Annie’s is found in the stunning Royal Exchange Building but eschews the opulence of its location in favour of comfort food and a warm hug after a long day. The breakfasts are fantastic but it is the mains that keep us coming back, in particular the monolithic Sunday roasts. There is something truly ‘Manchester’ about this place, a none more traditional restaurant in a stunning spot.
