The Science Museum is another excellent house of culture in South Kensington, a museum full to breaking point with innovative creations and otherworldly ideas come to life. The oldest surviving steam locomotive is here, along with the first jet engine and documentation of the first typewrite, among thousands of other priceless bits of science history.
