The best pub in Woodhouse, The Chemic Tavern has been serving the good people of Leeds beer since way back in the 1840s. The pub was actually named after a local factory that produced Vitriol, but the boozer has long outlasted the chemical makers. There is an old fashioned charm to this place that simply cannot be manufactured, with a great selection of cask ales and frequent live music nights.
