Modern and contemporary British art is on the menu as the excellent gallery in the centre of Leeds, one big homage to the work of men and women from the 20th century (in the most part). That collection is one of the most extensive in the UK, a collection of ‘national importance’ no less, and any art lover worth their salt will make a visit to the Leeds Art Gallery a bucket list stop when on this wacky, wacky island. It shares the Tiled Cafe with the library too, and that place is excellent.
