‘One of the most important surviving examples of Georgian theatre architecture’ is how the Theatres Trust describes the Theatre Royal in Bath, and we aren’t about to disagree. A performance of Richard III opened this beauty back in 1805, and it remains an integral part of the cultural and architectural scene in the city. There are also a number of smaller venues and restaurants found within, a true coverall venue for a night of high culture.
