Grundtvig's Church

This large cathedral was erected in 1940, to commemorate N.F.S. Grundtvig, Danish philosopher and hymn writer. The cathedral reminds of the gothic architecture, but s actually built in expressionist style. About five million yellow bricks were used in construction of this awe-inspiring giant that oozes peace and serenity. One of the not so typical facts about the cathedral is that it has two organs, but when you think of the size, maybe it's not peculiar at all.
