We do love a Danish amusement park. Situated just a couple of kilometres outside the city centre is Aarhus’ Tivoli Friheden, a fun-filled festival of frivolity that has grown organically over the last century and a bit. More than 40 attractions await within, including four rollercoasters and a pretty sweet water ride. The park is open from April to October and closed over the winter, although it does open through late November and December for a big Christmas celebration.
