International film festival. The only event in the Czech Republic focusing on the art of cinematography and the role of the director of photography. It is also the only film festival in the Czech Republic to be based outside traditional screening venues – instead Ostrava Kamera Oko makes use of Ostrava’s spectacular historical industrial sites, nominated on the tentative list for UNESCO recognition.
