This historic coal mine, founded in 1843, is now open to visitors. The mine has intentionally been left just as it was when the last coal was brought to the surface in 1993. Visitors can choose from several different tours, following the routes taken by miners when starting their shift – including the unique chain-system changing rooms, the engine hall, and much more.
