Hundreds of historical puppets of varying age, size and shape are here from Bohemian peasants and Asian warriors to pirates, goblins and devils. The puppets have been borrowed from the Theatre Department of the National Museum and from the Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures in Prague. Working theatre sets including a giant Ferris wheel will keep the kids occupied while you check out the city’s oldest fresco dating to the 14th century behind the cash desk. You can skip the cheesy chamber of mystery in the cellar.
