Located in Minerska Bay within a former military complex, the St Anthony’s Channel Visitor Centre is a modern multimedia interpretation centre dedicated to the natural and cultural heritage of the Šibenik-Knin County.
Its permanent educational and entertaining exhibition, Where the River Meets the Sea, introduces visitors to the rich biodiversity of the Krka estuary and St Anthony’s Channel through interactive exhibits, multimedia installations, and virtual reality experiences. Special emphasis is placed on the underwater world, protected habitats, and the unique meeting point of river and sea. The centre also features a multimedia hall, educational programmes, a souvenir shop, a café bar, and a children’s playground. Film lovers may recognise the location from scenes of the cult Croatian movie How the War Started on My Island, which was filmed here. Opening hours and additional visitor information can be found at kanal-svetog-ante.com.
