The Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity (to give it its formal name), Bristol’s Cathedral is a sumptuous piece of Gothic architecture that feels at home in the elegant surroundings of the city. This has been the seat of the Bishop of Bristol since 1542, and while Christianity might be on the way out in this part of the world the church remains a stirring sight with plenty to admire. History, faith and art, all in one place.
