Originally established in 1371, the Knežina Monstery was rebuilt in 1963 when socialism ruled the roost in this part of the world. That might seem a little unusual, but it was the presence of the old church that allowed its modern equivalent to be constructed, and today this alluring little church has taken on a whole new meaning. There is a tranquility here that is difficult to match, in this little spot on the road just 15 minutes north of Sokolac.
