You may (or may not) have noticed already, but Jovan Dučić is Trebinje’s greatest son. The poet is widely regarded as one of the finest that the region every produced, so it is no great surprise to the see the man celebrated all over town. His monument stands in the main park of the city, a green thoroughfare that unsurprisingly takes his name.
