When we first moved to Mostar, this was the first restaurant we truly fell in love with. The food is consistently excellent, Bosnian classics from top to bottom, but it was the setting that really grabbed us. The restaurant is found in the garden of the Karađoz Bey Mosque, the largest in Hercegovina and one of the finest. That setting adds an extra dimension to what is already a hugely enjoyable gastronomic affair. No alcohol on the menu of course, due to that whole ‘being in the garden of a mosque’ thing.
