Despite a fantastic location in the very northwestern corner of Bosnia & Hercegovina, Bihać isn’t exactly the easiest city to get to. The train station has long stopped being of practical use, and the nearest airports are found over the border in Croatia more than 150km away. The bus station remains the best bet for getting in and out of Bihać, while local transport to the beautiful surroundings isn’t exactly the best. Still, what you get once you arrive is absolutely majestic, making it worth every speck of effort needed.
