Laktaši might be famous for its modern spa facilities, but this little municipality near to Banja Luka has a history of wellness that goes back centuries. Discovered in 1998 were the remains of a Roman Spa, dating to some time between the 1st and 4th centuries, a public bath that hinted at the innovative ways of achieving physical harmony way back in the day. The remains are found in the centre of Laktaši next to the tourist office.
