Named after a 19th and 20th century writer and politician with a quite fantastic moustache, Petar Kočić Park is the central green area in the centre of town. The park underwent a reconstruction at the beginning of the 21st century that hasn’t exactly endeared it to older generations, but this is still a peaceful spot for an afternoon stroll. There is also a monument to Kočić, although it doesn’t really do his moustache justice.
