Banja Luka’s main bus station is a couple of kilometres north of the city, next to the best market in town. That is about as good as it gets however, as there is little in the way of facilities and even less in the way of English spoken. Buses leave Banja Luka for most towns in Republika Srpska, along with daily buses to Sarajevo (both central and Istočno) and a few departures to Serbia. International routes to Vienna, Munich, Zurich and more also depart from here. Buying a ticket on the same day as departure is easy enough.
