The Bišćević House is a splendid example of private Islamic architecture in Herzegovina. Somewhat hidden away just a short walk from the city centre, the house was built in 1635 and is a gorgeous example of a traditional Ottoman house, albeit the traditional Ottoman house of a wealthy person from back in the day. The house is now a museum, a charming love letter to an important part of Mostar’s history. A great place for a coffee as well.
