Zvezda is a bit far from things on the southwestern edge of the city, and the building looks like it was plucked right out of downtown Mogadishu. But the rooms are clean and well maintained, and guests can use a spa bath, sauna, solarium and massage. Apparently there’s some kind of privatisation going on too, with small dental clinics now crowding the lower floors.
