Public transportation in Baku includes metro, buses, trams, trolleys, and taxis. The urban public transportation vehicles are running between 06:00 and 1:00 the next day, and the taxis, of course - 24/7. To use the metro (even for a single trip) you need to buy a magnetic card and charge it with the number of trips you'd like. In buses, trams, and trolleys you pay the price directly to the driver in cash. Oh, and don't expect any ticket in return. Nor some change.
