At present Kunstforum exhibits a fascinating collection by the famous Russian marine painter Iwan K. Aiwasowski (until July 10 2011). The expressiveness of his seascapes and bold juxtaposition of colors are indeed quite unique. If you like paintings by William Turner you will no doubt appreciate Aiwasowski's work as well.
