Austria, as you know, is a land-locked country, so a beach is a mighty hard thing to come by. With that in mind, Herrmann's Beach Bar was established along the Danube Canal, creating a beach environment in the middle of the city. It's always packed with Viennese with their feet in the sand, and the cocktails, though a bit pricey, are just what you’d expect at some island paradise. In terms of beer, they do offer Ottakringer, Vienna´s local brew.
