We were honestly a bit sceptical after hearing multiple locals recommend that we eat at the Codfather on our first visit to Tamborine Mountain, but as strange as it might sound, you won't find better fish and chips in southeast Queensland. Just let that thought sink in for a moment. It's hard to believe we know. And while there is something truly magical about the mountain, there's no wizardry when it comes to the food here, just fresh, quality seafood brought in daily from the wharfs in Brisbane and prepared exactly as it should be. In fact, the fish is so good that we've never given the burgers a try, but they're highly recommended by locals as well, and we appreciate that one is named after the legendary Springfield mobster Fat Tony.
