One of favourite Middle Eastern restaurants on the Gold Coast, both for its delicious food as well as the genuinely friendly service and family-friendly atmosphere, Shiraz is the place to head for authentic Persian cuisine. Succulent and flavourful varieties of kebab (chicken and lamb) account for most of the main courses, while for us the highlight of the menu are the more exotic stews, such as bamieh (okra and lamb) and fesenjan (sweet and sour chicken), all of which can also be ordered vegetarian. You won't find alcohol on the menu, and BYO is strictly prohibited.
