It's no exaggeration to say that the Q1 Resort & Spa has one of the most prestigious addresses on the Gold Coast, if not in all of Australia, as its namesake home is both the country's and the southern hemisphere's tallest structure. The facilities, amenities and service are pretty much exactly what you'd expect at a luxury resort, although some of the rooms we visited did seem to be showing a little wear and tear. If you're coming with a larger group, you're in luck as the huge 3- and 4-bedroom apartments are located on the highest floors. However, if you're staying in one of the lower rooms you can still enjoy breakfast at the Seventy7 Cafe & Bar, which is (you guessed it), on the 77th floor.
