This friendly, family-run eatery offers authentic, high-quality Vietnamese dishes at very reasonable prices. The menu ticks all the usual boxes and also includes some less commonly found dishes such black pepper hot pots and Báhn Xèo (a delectable Vietnamese-style pancake with a variety of fillings), but we'll admit that it's usually the pho that brings us here. As fragrant and hearty as you'll find anywhere in town, our only 'complaint' is that the bowls are so deceptively large that it can sometimes be a struggle to get to the bottom, despite how tasty it is. However, of all the positive words that have been said and written about O Me Ly, perhaps the most convincing recommendation is seeing bowls of piping hot pho being whisked to neighbouring shops at lunchtime.
