The premier museum in the country. Established in 1920, the History Museum of Armenia has been described as a ‘house of communion’ and we aren’t about to disagree with that. The range of artefacts on show is simply stunning, covering everything from the Bronze Age to the modern day, tackling every aspect of Armenian history head on. The National Gallery of Armenia is found on the top floor, rounding off a quite excellent house of culture.
