A dispersed archaeological site on a commanding hilltop near Matohasanaj village, remains have been found here of 5th century BCE walls, ancient tombs and terraced sites for dwellings. As ever, the magnificent views aross the Vjosa valley and the mountains is as much reason to come up here as the historical ruins.
