A beautiful hour’s hike south from the church leads you to Thethi’s highlight, the 25-metre high Grunas waterfall that plunges spectacularly into a small pool. Surrounded by lush green forest, it’s a lovely place to cool down in summer. The 2-kilometre long Grunas Canyon beyond is 60 metres deep and just 2 metres wide in places, and should be explored with a guide.
