The Dumi family serves delicious traditional food on their unpretentios terrace with views over Gjirokastra's old town streets. The mountain trout, lamb, casserole and fried vegetable dishes including the local speciality qifqi (fried balls of rice, eggs and mint) come with fresh bread and optional lashings of yoghurt, and are best washed down with a Korça beer or local wine.
