The historical arched bridge from 1820 that crosses the Drinos river at Kordhocë, just off the main road 2km south of Gjirokastra, was once the only link between the city and the towns to the east. Locals still use it to cross to their fields, or as a convenient spot for fishing and swimming. As an added bonus, there's a large communist-era bunker beside the house opposite.
