Right in the bazaar, this small restaurant serves all the Albanian and Gjirokastra classics, from byrek pies to meatballs, casseroles and stuffed peppers - but it's the charms and enthusiasm of the host Defrim that draw the tourists in, who's constantly chatting with passers-by, waiting tables and checking on his wife Buko in the kitchen.
