Halfway down the road from the castle to the lower town, the magnificent 17th-century Llavda mansion houses a quirky regional ethnographic collection. Guides take visitors on a short English-language tour of the house, which has original interiors, an impressive collection of traditional fashion and even a reconstructed bazaar street. Afterwards, sit on the huge wooden veranda, and strike a pasha pose.
